Ben Love
Ben is a dancer and a choreographer with a record of success in the performance arts, with extensive international
experience as a principal and soloist dancer. Born in Nairobi, Kenya, he grew up in Nottingham and started dancing
at the age of 16 after having seen a performance by the Dance Theatre of Harlem, USA. He trained at the Arts Education School
for four years, where he won the Markova Cup for Boys in 1984 and performed as a dancer at the London Palladium
in the presence of HRH The Queen.
His classical training is strongly rooted in contemporary style, yet subtly reflective of his African heritage.
Love joined the London City Ballet, Northern Ballet, Norwegian Opera Ballet and has worked with the Nordic Dance Theatre.
